Working Principle of Aerial Work Platforms
An aerial work platform is a type of lifting equipment composed of a traveling mechanism, hydraulic mechanism, electric control mechanism, and support mechanism. Hydraulic oil is pressurized by a vane pump and passes through an oil filter, explosion-proof solenoid directional valve, throttle valve, hydraulic check valve, and balance valve to enter the lower end of the hydraulic cylinder, causing the piston in the cylinder to move upward, lifting the load. The oil returning from the upper end of the cylinder returns to the oil tank through the explosion-proof solenoid directional valve. The rated pressure is adjusted by an overflow valve, and the pressure is observed through a pressure gauge.
Aerial work platforms are classified according to their working method into articulated boom lifts, scissor lifts, mast lifts, and telescopic boom lifts. Aerial work platforms are a replacement product for articulated boom lifts and scissor lifts. They can be widely used in stations, docks, airports, hotels, post offices, municipal gardens, grain depots, cleaning companies, decoration and renovation of public building facades, and installation and maintenance of power systems, etc. This aerial work platform boasts advantages such as light weight, self-propelled operation, electric start, self-supporting legs, simple operation, and a large working area, especially its ability to overcome obstacles for high-altitude work.
