Battery Charging Instructions
- Battery Location: The batteries and battery charger are conveniently housed within the battery pack.
- Power Off: Begin by turning off the power supply to the crane. Rotate the switch key counter-clockwise (CCW) to the off position.
- Disconnect Battery: Carefully disconnect the battery cable connector from the compartment on the crane.
- Connect to Charger: Fully engage the battery cable connector to the compartment on the battery charger.
- Voltage Check: Before connecting the battery charger to the local power supply, ensure that both the charger and the local power supply have the same voltage.
- AC Connection: Plug the AC extension cord from the charger into the outlet of the local power supply. This will automatically activate the charger.
- Automatic Charging: The charger will commence the charging process, automatically adjusting the charging rate to meet the needs of the batteries.
- Full Charge Maintenance: Once the batteries reach full charge, the charger will transition to a maintenance mode, providing only enough current to keep the batteries fully charged.
- Disconnection: When the charging cycle is complete, disconnect the AC plug from the local power supply and the crane outlet.
- Reconnect Battery: Remove the battery connector from the charger and fully engage it to the drive plug on the crane.
- Ready for Operation: Your CATHAYLIFT Mobile Crane is now ready for operation.
