Although working at heights is simple and trouble-free, various problems may arise due to irregular operation and use. CATHAYLIFT has sorted out the rules for all users. Hope that all CATHAYLIFT users will keep in mind:
1. Any work carried out at a height of 2 meters or more above the ground should be regarded as high-altitude operations. All work that can be done in advance on the ground must be done on the ground, and work at heights should be minimized.
2. Personnel working at heights who are in good health, suffer from mental illness, epilepsy, and have been identified by a doctor as suffering from high blood pressure, heart disease and other diseases that are not suitable for working at heights are not allowed to participate in height operations. When it is found that the staff is drinking alcohol and is in low spirits, it is forbidden to work on heights.
3. Work at heights must first build scaffolding or take measures to prevent the team from falling before proceeding.
4. When working on dam crests, steep slopes, roofs, cliffs, pole towers, suspension bridges and other dangerous edges, safety nets or protective railings should be installed on the air side, otherwise the staff must use safety belts.
5. The ice, snow, gravel and soil on the sentry wall, steep slope site or sidewalk must be cleaned frequently, and a 1-meter-high railing must be set up on the outside side. Set 18 cm high side panels or earth mounds on the inside of the railing to prevent falling objects from hurting people.
6. When working on scaffolds without scaffolds or without railings, the height exceeds 1.5 meters, use safety belts, or take other reliable safety measures. 7. The seat belt should be checked before use, and the static load test should be carried out regularly (every 6 months). The test load is 225 kg, and the test time is 5 minutes. After the test, check whether there is deformation, rupture, etc., and do Good test record. Unqualified seat belts should be dealt with in time.
8. The hook or rope of the seat belt should be hung on a strong and firm component or a steel wire rope specially used for hanging the seat belt. Do not hang on moving or unstable objects.
9. Tool bags should be used when working at heights. Larger tools should be tied to solid components with ropes, and they are not allowed to be placed randomly to prevent accidents caused by falling from a high altitude.
10. When working at heights, no one is allowed to walk or stay below the work site except for the relevant personnel. Fences or other protective devices should be installed below the work site to prevent falling objects from hurting people. If working on a grid-like platform, planks should be laid to prevent tools and equipment from falling.
11. It is not allowed to throw tools and materials up and down. They should be tied down with ropes and then lifted down or up, so as not to injure the staff below or destroy the scaffolding.
12. When working on the upper and lower floors at the same time, a tight and firm protective partition, canopy or other isolation facilities should be set up in the middle, and the staff should wear safety helmets.
13. When working at heights below minus 10 degrees in winter, a heating rest place should be set up near the construction area if necessary. The heating equipment should be managed by a special person, and pay attention to fire prevention.
14. In severe weather such as strong winds of level 6 and above, heavy rain, thunder, and heavy fog, open-air high-altitude operations should be stopped.
15. It is forbidden to work on weak structures (such as asbestos tile roofs). In order to prevent false boarding, warning signs should be hung at the necessary places of this structure.
