Comparison of Rubber Sucker & Sponge Sucker:
Usage is different.
A round rubber sucker is made of rubber. It's only suitable for those whose surfaces are smooth, like glass, marble, steel plate, etc.A square sponge sucker is made of high strength sponge. Its vacuum pump is enlarged, specially designed for handling different kinds of heavy plate, and are widely used for those whose surface is not smooth enough, like marbles, floor slab, ceramic tile, steel board, wooden board, etc. Sponge suckers are not recommended to lift a glass(easy to break the glass because of the rugged surface). But the available range of square sucker is wider.
The vacuum pumps are different.
The Rubber sucker motor is 100w, The Sponge sucker is 500w. The difference between these two suction cups is not only the suction cups, but the most important thing is that the vacuum pump equipped with the sponge suction cups is much more powerful and provides stronger suction. In this case, even if there is serious air leakage, it can still suck life. Because the surface of the workpiece is rough, air leakage is inevitable.
Swept volumes are different.
The swept volume of the rubber sucker is 30L. The swept volume of the sponge sucker is 200L.
Gas tanks are different.
According to the different positions of different compartments to confirm the capacity. The rubber sucker uses a small gas tank of 0.5L. However, the sponge sucker will use a big gas tank of 5L~10L.
Prices are different.
Because of the above factors, the price of a vacuum lifter equipped with a sponge sucker is higher than the machine equipped with a rubber machine.
