Operating Instructions:
1. Placement and Load Capacity:
- Stable Ground: Always position the lifting platform on a solid and level surface to prevent tipping during operation.
- Load Limits: Strictly observe the load capacity specified on the nameplate. Overloading is strictly prohibited. Short-term overloads up to 10% are permissible only in emergencies.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute the weight evenly across the center of the lifting platform for optimal stability.
- Partial Loading: Partial loading is allowed in specific cases. The load for longitudinal partial loading should not exceed half (1/2) of the rated load, while lateral partial loading should not exceed one-third (1/3) of the rated load. Ensure any offset loads are at least 300mm away from the platform edge.
2. Handling Materials and Safety Precautions:
- Secure Materials: Secure materials prone to rolling, such as pipes, with proper blocking or bundling.
- No Personnel Transport: Carrying personnel on the lifting platform is strictly prohibited unless equipped with manned protection, railings, and anti-crack valves. These safety features prevent accidents caused by potential oil pipe ruptures and uncontrolled platform descent.
- Avoid Entrapment: When the platform is in operation, exercise caution to avoid hand, foot, and clothing entrapment.
3. Operating Procedures:
- Platform Movement: Use the "Up" or "Down" buttons to control the platform's vertical movement. If the platform fails to move, immediately stop operation and inspect the system.
- Overflow Valve: If the platform does not rise, and the overflow valve whistles, immediately stop operation and inspect the system. Failure to do so can lead to rapid overheating of the oil pump and severe damage. Remember, the overflow valve is a safety mechanism for both the machine and operator and should not be adjusted.
- Unloading: Only unload heavy objects when the lifting platform has completely stopped moving.
4. Maintenance and Inspection:
- Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the lifting platform and its components for wear and tear or any signs of damage. Replace worn or damaged parts promptly.
